Important Information

We provide healthy snacks, including fresh fruit and vegetables. We use fresh ingredients and follow statutory guidelines. Fresh drinking water is available at all times. We meet individual dietary requirements and parental preferences wherever possible

Children have the opportunity to interact with other children of different ages, thereby strengthening their social confidence.

Staff provide a child-led environment, allowing the children to make choices from the varied activities on offer which are supervised at all times: team games, arts and craft sessions and organised outdoor/indoor sports.

We plan workshops and themed events, being led by their interests but with the flexibility to adapt when necessary.

We also ensure that we incorporate celebrations, events and festivals to develop their understanding of the world.

Each day there will be a selection of both adult led and child initiated activities. These may include:

  • Board games, Card games
  • Construction
  • Art, Cooking, Crafts
  • Play dough
  • Movie sessions
  • Homework support
  • Seasonal craft/celebrations
  • Outdoor play
  • Reading
  • Role play and drama

We endeavour to keep the play environment safe, secure and children feel happy to be left in our safe hands. Children are in a place where they can freely play with their peers. Children are encouraged to make suggestions and shape the environment through the children's council.
